Dunning Community Trust

Dunning Community Trust aims to help shape and improve the village of Dunning and surroundings for future generations
Kincladie Wood was purchased as a Community Wood in 2004 for the people of Dunning, a village community situated to the West of Perth in the beautiful countryside of Strathearn. The wood is “ancient” and has existed without ever being cleared for grazing or arable farming since at least 1750.

The wood extends to around 20 acres and is easily accessed from Dunning by a footpath leading to the circular core path in the wood that is suitable for pushchairs, bicycles and disabled access

Managed by the charity registered Dunning Community Trust, members take part in helping to shape and improve the wood and its surroundings for future generations, providing opportunities to see at first hand management of woodland, environmental protection, conservation, rehabilitation and understanding of woodland and its flora and fauna
