Alyth Environmental Group - Project Coordinator

Alyth Environment Group (AEG) has obtained funds from the Scottish Government Climate Challenge Fund to appoint a Project Co-ordinator for an initial period of 12 months to assist with a range of local projects.

Project Co-ordinator - £23 000 per annum pro rata for half time post - average of 18 hours per week

To lead on the delivery of AEG’s Alyth Climate Action Town initiatives, and principally a street-by street- energy audit and insulation programme for 2009. The post will also help to co-ordinate a range of other environmental projects in the town on behalf of the AEG. The post will require good organisation and communication skills, and experience in sustainable development and community projects. A dynamic and innovative approach would be desirable, as would some local knowledge of Alyth.

The post is initially a 1 year fixed term appointment, based in Alyth, Perthshire.

Closing date is 11.59pm Monday 19th January 2009 Interviews on evening of 29th and daytime 30th January 2009 at a time to suit
