CWA Woodland Advisor - West Central Scotland£16,500 per annum, Fixed Term Appointment of 3 Years
The Isle of Rum Community Trust requires a countryside ranger to work within Kinloch village, Isle of Rum. As Countryside Ranger you will be actively involved in monitoring and surveying of wildlife within the site, meeting and greeting visitors from the ferry, providing information, knowledge and advice to visitors, access improvements, practical conservation work within the village and community involvement in the local environment. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to further education level in a countryside related subject and must be able to demonstrate skills in habitat management, access improvements, events and interpretation as well as co-ordinating volunteers. A committed individual, you will be well organised, self motivated and able to work on your own initiative. The ability to communicate at all levels with a flexible approach to working hours is necessary.
