Lochbroom Woodfuels - Paid Graduate Internship - Business Development Assistant

7.65 per hour, 20 hours per week for 3 months

Lochbroom Woodfuels is a start-up social enterprise that creates training and employment opportunities for young people of all abilities. Lochbroom Woodfuels is looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful graduate who can help progress a new project from planning stages to service delivery.

As a Business Development Assistant you will:
Research local markets to assess demand
Negotiate supply chain contracts
Work out the cost of delivering the service
Develop a pricing structure

You will have full support of your line manager at all stages of the business plan. This is a great opportunity to build your CV whilst working for a growing organisation on a time-sensitive project.

The ideal candidate will have a background in business management, environmental studies, surveying or related disciplines, however, many of the necessary skills are transferable and they welcome applications from graduates of all disciplines. Excellent writing, communication, organisational and IT skills are essential, as is working to a deadline. Previous experience of working with, or planning budgets, would be very useful.
