Plantlife Scotland – Events Officer  

Application Deadline: Friday 23rd March 2012
Part time post (3 days a week), fixed term contract for two years.
Up to £19,110 p.a. pro rata plus optional contributory pension

Plantlife Scotland, the wild plant conservation charity, seeks an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help deliver a two year project entitled “Wild and Wonderful: A Celebration of Scotland’s Wild Plants and Fungi”, mostly in Scotland’s central belt.

This is a new post and will involve running awareness raising activities for local communities as well as developing publications.

The postholder will have experience of running local events and will need to be able to work well under their own initiative as well as part of the Plantlife team and with project partners. The post will involve frequent weekend working, particularly in the busy summer season.
