Community Woodlands Annual Conference Nov 2007There will be a seminar day on 9th Nov aimed at professionals working to support development of community woodland groups. The focus will be on community involvement in managing urban Woodlands, the benefits to communities and the ways this can be achieved.
The 10th and 11th will be aimed at delegates from community woodland groups. Topics covered will be Health and Wellbeing, Volunteers, Tackling Vandalism, Sharing Experience and the new Arts Network. There will of course be the usual Saturday night Ceilidh and CWA’s AGM will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Dark Skies - Stargazing EventsThe Royal Observatory in Edinburgh, Dark Skies Project, will be visiting several community woodland venues in the coming months. They will explain the wonders of the universe, stars, comets and other heavenly bodies. Contact Amanda Calvert CWA Arts Coordinator for more details.
