Fifth Community Woodland Conference "Town and Country Linking and Learning" 11th to 13th February 2005 Woodside Hall, Central GlasgowPosted: 02/02/2005
The Community Woodlands Conference is an event which brings people together to network and learn from each other, whilst having a great time doing so. This fifth conference, to be held in Glasgow, is no exception. It highlights the increasing emphasis on community woodlands in urban areas, in particular plans to take forward the Glasgow and Clyde Valley Community Forest. The conference will compare the opportunities and challenges for both urban and rural community woodlands and identify the lessons to be learnt from each others experience.
