25th January
CWA is hosting a one-day seminar for groups developing Asset Transfer Requests to Forest Enterprise Scotland’s CATS scheme on Friday 25 January at Stirling Enterprise Park.
There will be brief presentations from FES, the Scottish Land Fund and a member of the CATS evaluation panel, however the main purpose of the day is to provide an opportunity for you to talk through your proposals, share ideas and get feedback from peers and advisors.
Topics will include defining your objectives, building community capacity, demonstrating community support and ensuring financial sustainability, but there will be scope to address any other areas for which groups might want advice and support.
It is important to stress that the workshop will not form part of the formal assessment or evaluation - the objective of the day is to help groups develop more robust applications.
The workshop is free to attend, will run approximately from 10.30 - 3.30 (coffee/tea available from 10 am and lunch provided) and we expect to be able to support T&S for participants from community groups. We should have space for two or three delegates per group.
