Guided Walk To Carnassarie Castle Archaeological Excavation Monday 5th June and Friday 16th June

5th June - 16th June

As part of the Year of History, Heritage & Archaeology and the ‘Dig It’ Festival, Kilmartin Museum is leading archaeological excavations at Carnassarie Castle. There will be guided tours of the site on both Monday 5th June and Friday 16th June leaving from Carnassarie car park at 1.30pm.


Guides will take people up to the dig where archaeologist Roddy Regan will give an update on the dig and show people around. Tours will take approx 1.5 hours including walking to & from the dig. Boots and waterproofs recommended. Sorry no dogs except guide dogs.


Out with these tours members of the public are welcome to visit the site, Monday – Friday between 9.00 – 4.00pm.
