22nd September - 23rd September

Ancient woodland restoration small scale harvesting and extraction demonstration event 10:00 17:00 Thursday 22nd September and/or 10:00 17:00 Friday 23rd September Glengarry, Lochaber Do you own or work in small woodlands; are they undermanaged or neglected and would you like to make better use of them? Do you own or lease ancient woodlands but need more information about managing them? The Woodland Trust Scotland, in association with the Simwood Project and Forest Enterprise Scotland invite you to a free demonstration event to discuss ancient woodland restoration in practice in Scotland, and to see a wide range of low impact solutions for management.

Who would find this useful? This will be particularly relevant to forestry businesses involved in harvesting and extracting in smaller and potentially more sensitive woods, and owners who would like to manage their own woodlands or who would like to know who they could engage to manage it for them. This event is free to attend and refreshments and lunch will be provided however numbers are limited so early booking is recommended. How do I book a place? Click on the link to complete the booking form Email Erica on erica.spencer@ruraldevelopment.org.uk or call on 0845 226 2890
