Ledmore & Migdale Woods, Spinningdale - Gaelic in the Woods

18th June

Gàidhlig sa Choille / Gaelic in the Woods

They will look at Gaelic names for native plants, including trees, and Highland lore and stories connected to them. Your guide will be Gaelic-speaking journalist, broadcaster and educator Roddy Maclean (Ruairidh MacIlleathain). Come along and learn about the traditional Gaelic understanding of land and nature. The sessions will be conducted largely in English and will be suitable for people who know nothing about the Gaelic language, but Gaelic-speakers and learners (at all stages) are particularly welcome to attend.

FREE and booking is recommended. Bring outdoor clothing.
