CWA Hutting Seminar, Colintraive Village Hall Colintraive, Argyll

CWA has teamed up with Colintraive and Glendaruel Development Trust, Reforesting Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to deliver a 1 day seminar and workshop which will explore the new publication- New Hutting Developments- Good Practice Guidance on the planning, development and management of huts and hut sites, downloadable here http://www.thousandhuts.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/160215-Huts-Guidance-FINAL-screen-res.pdf and which will provide an ideal networking opportunity for people interested in all things hutting.

The day aims to cover: background information to the hutting movement, planning, tenure and other legal issues, site selection, service provision, management of huts in a community setting, hutting strategy for woodlands; income generation and manufacture of huts, and delegates will have the opportunity to participate in discussion and visit a new potential hutting site to carry out visioning within the landscape.

This workshop is for aspiring and existing hutters, planners and land-owners who would like to achieve the collective vision of a new era for hutting in Scotland. Please find attached the booking form and agenda.
