The Greenability Conference 2014, Donaldson's School, Linlithgow, West Lothian

22nd October

Bringing people together from disability and environmental organisations in order to increase access to nature and enjoyment of the outdoors for people with a disability. An outdoor-based networking event, the Green Ability Conference will bring together disability sector agencies and environmental sector organisations to learn about and share good practice around the impact outdoor spaces can have on people with disabilities in terms of health and well-being.

The event will:

· Showcase and share stories and examples of outdoor activities for those with a disability;

· Provide hands-on practical taster sessions for delegates to experience the power of the outdoors;

· Provide opportunities for networking;

· Signpost organisations to funding, fundraising training and other learning opportunities for growing work in this area.

Who’s it for?

Anyone who supports disabled people and wants to integrate environmental and outdoor based activity into their programme of work.

They are also looking for partner organisations who would like to be involved in shaping, supporting and planning the event and contribute ideas to the programme - as well as be involved on the day itself. For more information or to register your interest in becoming a partner in planning the event please contact Julia Duncan: To register interest in the attending please contact: Tricia Burden:
